Fall 2009
Registration is now open for the MASL fall league,  which begins in September 2009.   Boys teams U09 through U14 and girls teams U09 through U19 may apply. Note: teams in the U11 and U12 age brackets may choose to play in the Novice (8 v 8) or Junior (11 v 11) format.  

Novice Divisions (Girls and Boys)
Teams U09 through U12
will play in an 8 v 8 format on downsized fields in accordance with USYS recommendations.  Games will be scheduled on Sunday afternoons beginning September 13, 2009 and ending November 22, 2009.  There will be 8 to 10 games.  No scores or standings are published for U09 and U10 divisions and all players in those divisions receive participation awards.  In the U11 and U12 divisions scores and standings are published and the players of the first and second place teams will receive trophies.

Junior Divisions (Girls and Boys)
Teams U11 through U14
will play 11 v 11 on full size fields.  8 to 10 games will be scheduled on Sunday afternoons September 13, 2009 and ending November 22, 2009.  The winners and second place finishers in each division will receive trophies.

Senior Girls Divisions
Girls teams U15 through U19
will be offered an abbreviated, state cup qualifying league with games to be scheduled on a cooperative and flexible basis, primarily on Sunday afternoons.  There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 games played between September 13, 2009 and ending November 22, 2009.  This league is designed to provide qualifying league play for teams that might prefer to play several games in one weekend, rather than one game each week, such as teams participating in several tournaments during the season.

Fees
League fee: $250 per team
Performance bond (refundable): $200 per team ($100 when clubs enter and pay for 3 or more teams).
              Note
: in order to receive the discount, the club must pay all fees for all teams and designate a club official to whom the  
                         bond refund is returned.  Before sending payment, check how many teams in your club are registering.  
                         One check preferred.

Deadlines

Registration deadline July 31, 2009
           
In order to be accepted, registrations must be complete with all information
            requested including a second contact whose phone number and email address are
            different from those of the head coach.

Payment in full due August 8, 2009

Rosters due September 1, 2009

Refunds
For notice of withdrawal received by August 15, full refund minus $25 administrative fee.
For notice of withdrawal received by August 22, refund of $250.
